After Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, another star from Hollywood has tested positive for Coronavirus. The Wire star Idris Elba has announced that he has been affected by Covid-19.

While necessary precautions are being taken, it's getting difficult to curb the spread of Coronavirus by each passing day. The infection that originated in China's Wuhan has reached every part of the world. While commoners are dealing with this pandemic, even celebrities are not safe. It was recently that Forrest Gump actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson had shared that they have tested positive for Coronavirus and were under isolation. Then the news of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's wife testing positive for the same hit the headlines. Now, the latest celebrity to fall victim to COVID-19 is Idris Elba. 

The Wire star took to social media to announce that he has been tested positive and is taking due measures to not spread it to anyone else. He took to Twitter to share a video of his in which he stated that he has been tested positive and that he's doing okay. In the caption, Idris wrote, "This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.  Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing  No panic."

In the video we also see his wife Sabrina Dhowre. She hasn't been tested positive but is staying by his side. The Luther actor in the video also says, "Look we live in a divided world right now...but now is a time for solidarity. Now is a time for thinking about each other. There are so many people whose lives have been affected."


Yesterday, we had reported about The Quantum star Olga Kurleynko being tested positive for Coronavirus. She made the announcement via Instagram as she wrote, "Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus. I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously! #coronavirus #коронавирус.” She even added “I have actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously”.
